Let us tell you a little more:

House

The house is very old and has a pigeonnier - tower, which contains 2 bedrooms both having great views to the valley below.  The walls have been covered in traditional lime washed plaster, applied in a traditional manner. The main living area is 18m long and has a vaulted ceiling with original beams. The floor is entirely tiled in cool and tasteful antique style tiles.


Views

There are wonderful views overlooking a green valley and the 15th century Martignac church. The surrounding oak woods with stunning views and many lovely walks are right on the doorstep around the house.


Pool

The swimming pool, with its wonderful outlook on the woods, is for the sole use of the guests to the house. The dimensions are 10m x 5.5m, and 1.5m deep throughout, with roman steps.


Kitchen

The well stocked kitchen has coffee machines, microwave, dishwasher and everything else you would expect in a fully fitted kitchen and well equipped. There will be a welcome pack of food and wine for you on your arrival, including local Cahors wine, so no worries about rushing out to buy bread or milk. Simply relax and unpack! Towels and bedding are provided.


Bedrooms

The house can sleep a total of six people. There is a bedroom on the ground floor of the pigeonnaire with a double bed and en-suite shower, washbasin and WC. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom with en-suite shower and washbasin and another bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite bathtub and washbasin. There are 3 WC’s in total. All the bedrooms have beautiful views.


Villages

Puy l'Eveque, only 3kms away, has a market on Tuesday mornings and there is a market in nearby Prayssac on Fridays. Both villages have supermarkets and popular restaurants and cafes so you don't have to travel far for any provisions or dining.


Oak wood and gardens

There are 2 acres of natural oak woods. A number of seating areas. Under a pergola, a table and chairs with an umbrella over looking the pool and a picnic table in the oak woods in case it gets too hot. There are also a couple of benches in the garden and several loungers and plastic chairs next to the pool.
